A range of workshops with visiting- lecturer from Findlay University, USA

From 15th to 17th May, a series of workshops jointly hosted by the Office of International Cooperation and Project Development and the Office of Scientific Research and Project Management and the Faculty of Education were presented by Ms. Rachel L. Walter,a lecturer from Findlay University, USA.

Attending the workshopswere faculty staff,undergraduate students, graduate students from the Faculty of Education, History, English Linguistics &Literature, Libraries & Information Science, Sociology among other. There were also lecturers, and students fromother centers and universities in Ho Chi Minh City. 

 

The contents of these workshops focused on three topics: 

 

1. How to communicate with students effectively: The communication style of the Millennial generation in the US Higher education. 

 

2. The future of the US Higher Education. 

 

3. The effects of government policy on Higher Education activity in the US.

Throughout three workshops, attendees and participantsdiscussed actively and openly to learn from each other, as well as expanded connections and generated ideas for collaborative activities among individuals in the future.
