From the socio-historical perspective, the USSH boasts the tradition of its faculty members deeply engaged in nationalist cultural movement and national unification. In terms of cultural diversity, the University attracts academics from all regions of the nation and welcomes a big number of international students. As a result, an extraordinary variety of events – educational activities, cultural festivals, performances, concerts, exhibitions, and more – can be spotted around campuses throughout the academic year.
Every year, USSH students get hundreds of short-term and long-term scholarships awarded by the USSH’s partner institutions in the United States, Japan, Russia, South Korea, China, and so on. The students also join in numerous cultural exchange programs, such as the Surin International Folklore Festival, the Ship for South East Asian Youth Program (SSEAYP), the Festival of Vietnamese-Chinese Youths, and the like.
