The Department of Spanish Linguistics and Literature was established in 2008 with the main goal of training highlyqualifed bachelors not only majoring in the Spanish language but also in various aspects of Spain, South America and Latin America.

The Department provides inter-disciplinary courses so that undergraduate students can acquire a good command of Hispanic studies and mastery of the Spanish language for further studies and research. The Department of Spanish Linguistics and Literature works in close cooperation with many ministries, embassies, companies and organizations of different Hispanic countries.

In addition, the Department has created and fostered close ties with higher education institutions in Vietnam and in Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, etc. to diversify students’ opportunities to acquire real-life experiences, and to maximize training and learning quality with the purpose of extensively and intensively developing Spanish studies to a new height.
